"Break Up Songs..." was recorded almost entirely by the band in their own Studio 9 basement bunker in Minneapolis over an exhaustive 12 month period. The recordings didn't completely gel until Landing Gear enlisted the talents of Bryan Hanna (Faux Jean, Papas Fritas) to put on final production touches and to mix at the Terrarium studio. The results are a distinctive, heady pop classic. |
