| The Icy Shores are an indie-rock band in the best sense of the word. They are four regular guys with guitars, drums and literate, pained world-view. Their songs poke moodily at love and relationships with blasts of distortion coupled with sweet harmonies and intertwining guitars. |
The Icy Shores first long-player is called "What You Get and How You Get It" and was mixed by audio guru Bryan Hanna (the Hang-Ups, Golden Smog). The end result is an album filled with explosive dark-pop anthems that tightly careen over your senses. |
