On their debut EP, "We Can Be Anything," Minneapolis' Careers In Modeling fight off the burdens of modern rock glamour with an arsenal of intricate pop-punk anthems. Hailing from well-know mid-90s Minneapolis band Lily Liver, the Spectors, and Puck, Careers In Modeling funnel the best elements of the city's strong pop-punk tradition into a mesh of jagged guitars, frantic rhythm, and urgent voices that is at once both familiar and distinct.

Careers In Modeling blends the work of three song writers, creating the unique and rapidly-shifting sound that earned the band's Spring 2001 demo airplay on the University of
Minnesota's Radio K (770 AM), and the Local Sound Department show on Minneapolis' KFAI (90.3 FM).

Three years of live shows throughout the state have helped Careers In Modeling build a dedicated and growing local following. The fan base is expected to expand with increasing local and regional touring over the next few months.

The release of "We Can Be Anything" marks the onset of a period of high visibility for the band. Look for publicity surrounding the band in the coming weeks and months, including both local, and regional radio and press campaigns.
